Club de Vol Mediterrani

Club de vol Mediterrani was founded in December 1993 with the aim of becoming a benchmark for paragliding pilots on the island of Mallorca and promoting the sport of free flying.

The club’s activity is focused on the accompaniment of new pilots once the initiation and progression courses have been completed in the school, to facilitate and support their development. It is intended to enhance their knowledge of the environment, as it is essential for practicing this sport.

At present, Club de vol Mediterrani brings together all the paragliding and hanggliding pilots in Mallorca, it is attached to the Balearic Federation of Esports Aéris (formerly FBDA) and constitutes a bridge between this institution and the pilots of the island. One of its functions is to support and assist the training schools and the new pilots, managing the call for examinations and issuing official degrees through the Federation.
